Re: Low F - Alba vs Shearwater Feedback from Players?
Narzog, Thanks for the response mate. All good points to take in. I've previously owned a Goldie low D which helps give me some sort of benchmark. Will sit with it and see what presents going forward. Goldie F would be the pinnacle, but sounds like MK's are a nice option also. Also never know what c...

Low F - Alba vs Shearwater Feedback from Players?
Hey Y'all I'm on the search at the moment for a tuneable Low F Whistle and my budget of up to 150 pound seems to see me hovering around Alba and Shearwater. I'm also open to other whistles around the price range. I don't have access to play these whistles, so wondering if any owners of a low F (or G...

Re: Mystery Tune - Barn dance Scene - Back to the Future Part 3
Hi there
Thanks for your responses Hotblack & Folk312.
The song sounds great in that link to Grooveshark.
Haven't had any luck locating some dots to learn the tune and they may not exist. May have to learn it straight from the sound-clip.
Best wishes

Hi Y'all. This is a long shot :-? , but I've been trying for a while to discover the name of the tune in the barn dance scene in the movie "back to the future Part 3". For those who have seen it, it is the scene where Marty (Michael J Fox) saves Doc (Christopher Lloyd) by throwing a pie pl...

Re: loud whistles
Welcome to the Forum
I've heard / read that the Reyburn whistles (Esp the older ones) can be fairly loud. If one comes up for sale second hand on the site, it might be worth a look?
