Also, your mate, His Highness, Sir Winston Churchill, would have preferred a more simple, common word being priest, scholar, expert rather than pandit/pundit? And what might he have said about "double entendre"?

Anyway, I imagine if ol' Winnie-the-Poo were asked what he thought of the word "double entendre", he would say that it is French, and wander off looking for the scotch.
