Since we've had so much fun trying to beat each other's score at a few other flash games, I thought I'd share this one with you.

It helps to know a little German, but it isn't really necessary... and oddly, the drunk speaks English!
So, how far can you walk home drunk?
74 meters is my best so far... it would be easier if you were allowed to crawl after you fall down! :P

I've been playing this gaem for weeks... theres a link to it at ebaums world. My best was only 62meters. I think it would help if you could use street sign posts and light posts too... I know I have... since I don't drink at a pub unless I can walk home from it, that's how I have had to make my way home a few times. :o

Having a laser opticle mouse helps... I got rid of the old Clunky Ball mouse as soon as the opticle ones hit shelves about 4 years ago. Never looked back... No cleaning, no getting stuck, the refresh rate is a lot faster (and there are programs that make it even quiker). For those of you that are into drawing stuff with Computer prgrams, Corel, Adobe, etc and you don't want to fork out Big Bucks for one of those "Sketch pads" then there realy is no substitute to a good Opticle mouse. Originally I got one of the MICROSOFT branded ones and that one lasted about 8months of Hardcore Half Life death Match and Counterstrike before the wires inside the cord seperated. I have had my current logitech 5 button Mouse for over 2.5 years and I still have not had a single problem with it.

I take a cab. Or the bus if I'm feeling cheap.

Piece o' cake. The delayed reaction is similar to flying a radio controlled model helicopter.

One try, 70 meters. Back to work.

Best wishes,

The answer in central Ohio is - you can walk while drunk until the police catch you.

No kidding.

Columbus police can stop/ticket/arrest someone for "Drunk walking". The ordinance was designed to clean up areas surrounding The Ohio State University.

I don't have any stats on how many arrests, and its effectiveness.

All the best.

You MUST be P*ssed!
Real life beats virtual reality anyday,(though admittedly you don't have a hang-over next day).

That game is inexplicably entertaining.

Comparing lengths, hmm...
Ok, 65. First couple of tries were 2 and 3 meters and then I figured out what the deal was.

When I saw the topic:
How far can you walk home drunk?
My first thought?

Half way to my house.
It's why we have Designated Drivers,
who escort folks to their door,
even the length of the front walk,
can be divided in half.

It also why I don't get drunk.
I have a front walk that is 15 meters with 3 irregular steps up to the door and no railing. I have trouble with it sober.

I'd rather enjoy my music than my lack of balance, but I agree with Dale the game is strangely entertaining.

Naw that's just how I spell normally. My Brain is faster than my fingers and things get all messed up. So my brain says "Game" g-a-m-e GAME, and my fingers try to keep up by at least touching all the letters... most of the time not in sequence...
