Re: Posting clips
I'm just in a faze, so please forgive me.
Here's a tune I am trying to work back up. It's called the Destitution Reel. I learned it from an old recording of the group Ground Plan.

I would love to hear this without the backing... Sorry, I just want to concentrate on the flute part and I find that tough to do with the accompaniment.

My first recordings on flute. Took me hours to get a run without a train wreck. Played on my plastic Copley. (Delrin, actually, but whenever I tell people that they always think it's some kind of wood.)

So, umm, after a month of playing here's where I'm at... I would really appreciate and criticism that will help me improve. (I'm talking about the flute playing of course, appearance and whatnot will take more time/effort/trouble to improve than I'm willing to expend... )
As far as I can tell, it's not very in tune, and rhythm, drive and musicality are all lacking...
anyway, thanks for taking a look.

My suggestion is to put a sign that says DO NOT ENTER. RECORDING! on the outside of the door when you are recording.

Re: Posting clips
Great playing and tone Holmes. Be careful with the rhythm, you tend to speed up a bit on some passages.
