Thanks. No, it is a beautiful (Pentangle, Sine... that I know of). You have probably heard the line... The snows they melt the soonest when the winds begin to sing...

Hello.

My wife and I recorded two sets of Irish tunes. She played an anglo concertina and I played a flute.

1 Reels : The Golden Keyboard, Kiss the Maid Behind the Barrel
http://irish.cocolog-nifty.com/flute_co ... -keyb.html

2 Jigs : Antony Frawley's, When The Cock Crows It Is Day, An Buachai
http://irish.cocolog-nifty.com/flute_co ... wleys.html

I'm trying to play the flute in more focused tones now.

Thank you for listening to our music!

Wow, I haven't posted a tune in ages (actually, between working extended weeks, half the family in and out of the hospital, etc., I haven't played much in ages).

Regardless, I picked up a couple of new to me tunes this past week that I really like that I thought I'd share:

O'Carolan's Fairy Queen:
http://www.box.net/shared/utci9z2pca

Sweet Flowers of Milltown:
http://www.box.net/shared/hcy17245tx

Does anyone else get static when listening to tunes via The Box? I do...for everyone's. Yet if I listen to the MP3 before uploading, it sounds great on my netbook. I'm not sure if the problem is on the upload side or my side when listening/downloading...but I am curious if everyone else has similar issues.

I am trying to figure out how to record tunes for youtube... here's one of the first attempts. No reverb (Jem?).
Played on my Hudson Pratten.

Ah, the flute was laying there, and nobody around, and the next thing you know...
BAM! A one off of a set I like to play as a warm-up at sessions. Played here on the Seery Delrin Pratten.

Really, really. really. love the first tune! I shall try and pick it up! But if you want to send the dots along, that would be great too! I think you have been listening to some Donal Lunny? No?

Thanks so much, Arbo. Glad you like it. It came about from playing a bit with, taking a lesson from and listening to Brian Finnegan. Here's a link to the dots:
