Hey Marcus,

Really enjoyed the march, liked the feel and the different articulation. Your sound is cool too in a pure drop way. Well done.

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free
It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

Great tone Markus. I've been meaning to learn that since I heard Teada do it.

And don't ya think someone ought to tell him you're supposed to blow, not suck?
Still, I suppose that's how he gets those bits where it sounds rather like sucking the dregs from a glass with a straw......

I put up two new clips.
First of all, A Stor mo Chroi by myself accompanied with a pipe organ visualized with a bunch of travel photos from Ireland. http://youtu.be/FoCQTVmamMc?hd=1

The second is worth a look for all whistle players at least with very inetersting way of playing duets. Well, the music is so great in my opinion that everyone should check it out. It's a live recording from my friends' gig - Green Cottage is what they're called in that lineup.

Nice stuff Markus. I'd love to hear some reels or jigs played on the flute, if you like and when you have the time

Yeah, the energy is pretty cool, but man, he's so out of tune so much of the time. I like their adventurous spirit but it comes across as too much spice and not enough meat and potatoes. I actually like the other two links of them a bit better, both reels, though again, intonation issues and too much crazy frenetic improv. Cool ornaments--wish I could do his cranns.
