That would be brilliant if someone could pay my set of pipes to make me sound good, even if the damned things are faking it.

Ya think? I mean, DAY-yum. And you know that your set ain't going shopping any time soon, so guess who gets to keep the change? I'd be an uilleann pimper and study pimpering at the drop of a hat. The more I think of it, this should be a no-brainer.TheSilverSpear wrote:That would be brilliant if someone could pay my set of pipes to make me sound good, even if the damned things are faking it.
Hmm. I wrote:Think of it: the set might even be faking it...
Uh-oh. I think we may have stepped into vPipes territory. And TheSilverSpear wrote:...even if the damned things are faking it.

Reed pipes were invented by a woman (Athena) and then we gave them to the men along with a strong male mystic to keep them out of the way while we rule the world. You didn't know this? It's us and the little white mice.

Quite the double chanter you have!
Give a man a wooden reed and he'll play in the driest of weather,
Teach a man to make a wooden reed,
and the both of ye will go insane!
