I may sell further afield. If someone is interested from outside the UK I'm sure we could come to an agreement

Re: Ebay Items
The David Daye fully keyed C chanter arrived.
It plays well, pretty much in tune over the gamut, but it has the Low E/High E pitch differential commonly seen in Concert chanters. The design is odd in that it uses a Concert D reed, which probably accounts for the E issue.
All the keyed notes are right in tune.
The crossfingered C natural is a bit sharp, and I wonder if that hole is correctly placed for if it's a reed thing.

Is this the same seller that's got the aluminium drone reeds for £120?
Bought a set of them last year when there was a shortage of tenor drone cane (normally make my own). They sound good, only kept the tenor reed in. Bass was nice sounding but thin. Baritone was useless.
I think I paid £10 at the time.

Has anyone seen those Geoffrey chanter reeds.
I don't intend to buy one (I don't think any halfwit would ), but they have no bark on them.
Would bark-less reeds even work????

Re: Ebay Items
Hi John,
Well... possibly this one:
This is a Chris Bayley barrel set based on Malcolm MacGregor's work from the early 19th Century. Two drones, bass and baritone, two regulators with the baritone reg playing D, and the tenor playing F#, G, A and B. All in Boxwood, with triple bored bass drone. Chris has just finished a renovation on this set, and it is sounding great. When I sell it the bag will be different - this bag is for a Pastoral set.
I have collected more pipes than I could feasibly play, if I ever got much time to play, so a humane bagpipe cull seems to be in order.
