6/10/03 An Buachaill Caol Dubh
6/10/03 MacEachain sends a slow air, An Buachaill Caol Dubh. He plays it on a practice set of pipes in D. He started on the pipes this past January. He writes, "I wanted to learn this tune after hearing it played by Cillian Vallely on the CD Callan Bridge." (saved in u.p.)

Hi Richard,
Thanks for sharing that tune with us.As you probably know it's one of my personnal favourite slow airs (it's inclusion on the 'Callan bridge' album was a definate selling point for me,when I purchased that album a month or so back).
You definately sound to be making progress on the U.P.'s- Keep it up!

If we all hesitated because of imperfect playing, there would be no website. I've got some stuff on the site I still can't figure out why I posted it, but I'm too lazy to get rid of it. I keep saying I'll rerecord some things, but, you know...
