Irish language forum and classes

Post by Paul »

Hi all, I was netsurfing yesterday here at work :D and I came across some resources that may be of interest to some of you. The first is an Irish language discussion forum. It seems to be pretty active and a generally friendly bunch, and it is in the same fromat as here.

http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com/

The second is an excellent free online Irish course that has audio clips of how the words are supposed to be pronounced. This has been a source of great frustration for me and the first lesson alone answered MANY questions for me. The link was given to me by a member of the forum. (I'm Pauljr there) Here is the link:

Enjoy! :)

I plan to learn Irish one day. When I can find and afford a real live person teacher...
