Donnacha Keegan
Seanny,
I've spoken to Donnacha before he certainly knows his stuff about reeding chanters and Regs and seems a nice gentle chap so I can't see why his his pipemaking skills are not of the same high standard

Hi I play a D-fullset made by Donncha. I really like my set and think Donncha is a very good pipemaker.
I have had some problems with the chanter reed at first, needed som adjustments, bit too loud in my opinion.

There were more than a couple of great sounding concert sets at the concerts during the day.
Give a man a wooden reed and he'll play in the driest of weather,
Teach a man to make a wooden reed,
and the both of ye will go insane!

Re: donccha keegan
I play a full set by Donncha and am delighted with them.
The tuning is spot on.
His pipes were recommended to me by some very well known pipers and I'm glad I took their advice.
A great pipemaker and a really nice guy.
