The spiderbaby... it's got the body of a spider, but the mind of a baby.
Looks lovely there Mark. As a man with a Boisvert C set on order, I've got one question and one request: 1. what are the mounts made? and 2. will you post a sound sample?
the mounts are antler. it's a beautiful combination. especially in person.
the sound sample might be asking a bit. for a number of reasons, while i've had the chanter for a long time, i am only just now able to start learning to play it in earnest.

When you're ready to post a few clips, you can do so on the other forum. Here's the link.
hi pj. i'll probably *eventually* post on that particular topic.
i like that forum. i check in on it fairly regularly and have spent many a night irritating my wife by staying up til 4am reading past issues of the piper's review.
when i was waiting for the previously shown chanter to arrive, i amused myself thusly:
i think i spent three minutes drawing that because someone posted a pic that they made in solidworks or some other 3D CAD program... and i wanted to make my own "3D rendering"....
yeah i'm pretty much a dork....

My Whitmer drones and regulators. The baritone reg was received last February and I picked up the tenor reg last weekend at the Pipers' Gathering in Vermont.
The craftsmanship is first rate. I only hope my piping will one day do it justice. Once again, thank you, Nick Whitmer.
...I did that the night before my hand surgery...feeling a bit whimsical (ok, I was feckin panicking!) about the hand..needed a good smile. It's not a photoshop trick by the way...

There are photos of a particular set that I'd like to see David, how about sharing some? That would be a happy thing, I need some happy right now.
