Nice looking pipes. Unusual shape on the key touches, but they look good. I'm looking forward to hearing the soundfiles. Are you planning to add a bass regulator?

Bonjour,

This is my new set which was finished... last night! :)

It's a C set with 4 drones (4th & 5th) old indian ebony/ivory made by A. FROMENT. (you can notice keys are a little bit wider than usually)

Lots of shiny bits on there Poupounou, engraving also, but I have to ask what that large key at the top of the bass regulator is, It looks like it may be an extra note! I'm sure it'll give you years of pleasure.

Nice. I also like the fact you were provided with photos of your set in various stages of its manufacture, very cool. :)

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

The arrangement is very much like David Power's set: E reg key/extra drone.

Don't you worry about warping? ;-)

Couldn't find any pictures of any Ginsberg pipes here so:

My Ginsberg concert pitch set in ebony and brass with a Ginsberg B chanter and a Hunter D chanter

Apologies for the link, I've tried to embed the pic but I'm not having any luck.

Help!!
