the latest.........on a more positive note.
I haven't exactly been sitting on my behind and wait for something to happen.......so I have some new appointments.
aug 7: going to visit a bureau which handles complaints about health care organisations, be it hospitals, health insurances, whatever.
they know what to do and where to go if someone has problems and have some lawyers working for them to give advice and handle court cases if needed.
that is going to be interesting at least and will inform me further on how I best handle all this to get things solved.
have got email from AB Antwerp last week, that it's ok to send them the full story so that they can be prepared once they are going to visit my hospital.
today, I got a mail from my hospital, believe it or not:
that I am requested to visit on august 13, by audiologist AND ADVANCED BIONICS to visit and have the inner part checked out.
needless to say I let them know I will be there.
august 25th, which you already know, have the appointment with the chef the clinique again.
it feels like something is finally on the move.
not only on this front.
because I am now playing more again and have made the amazing discovery that I seem to train my ears in a way when playing, noticing that when I have a tuner out, I can hit notes with being less than 5% off! and most of the time tell the three octaves apart.
that is something new to me to do that by ear and just peeking to check....
and playing more is bringing me again to peace with myself.
also new, is that I get to use the phone more often. not that I can yet perfectly understand anyone but if one takes the time and patience, I sure get more than 80%.
working on listening to audiobook regularly to just tickle the old nerves also seems to help.
other than all this, I am after a (volunteer) job for the moment.
if all goes well next week, it's likely I will have found a place where I will fit perfectly........helping them to take care of drop outs of the community and help the place to get self sufficient, something that is really dear to my heart, it is a former abdy of the trappists at a real nice quiet place.
have been there yesterday and it felt real good, nice people.

mutepointe, yes dropouts are those people who are either homeless, or have problems with the community and need a break from there and others needing a bed and roof above their head for different reasons.
but you got me curious saying I have skills folks need
they sure need a loving heart and I think it WILL work out, feels good.

You have a real ability to communicate joys and hopes and sadness and frustration and struggle and achievement. As easy as that may come to you, it's not a talent we all have. You have determination. The folks there are going to watch how you handle your own journey. And if you can do it, so can they. And I'm really hoping your get to play your music (and their music too.) Folks need to get the opportunity to enjoy the fine things in life. Where do you think they're going to find another flute player for free?
You have more skills too and you'll get the chances to see.

Rose tint my world. Keep me safe from my trouble and pain.
