I'd say that's definitely Jerry Douglas there. I'm sure he was paid well but personally? I'd feel better if the poor guy just had a pair of earplugs...or if he went back in time and decided he'd really rather not take that gig after all...*shudder*

I'm torn between the butchering of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "You Shook Me All Night Long." Both are made so much worse by dint of being terrible knock-offs of truly great songs. Kinda like the best heroes, if turned, making the worst villains.

Well, I'm more of a "sis" than a "bro" but yes, I dabble in Dobro. Or have dabbled. I have a Regal RD-52 Black Lightning dobro sitting here collecting dust. Just had to have one a few years back after seeing AK+US live and meeting Mr. Jerry Douglas himself. Learned "Wildwood Flower," "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," and a few Christmas tunes and the novelty wore off.
