--Here's a peek into Dale's character, which I don't think he'll mind me revealing: we had a short series of correspondences where at one point I waxed enthusiastic about him and the board he created, to which he replied, "Oh, shut up. Cripey! Not this "Dale Wisely is so wonderful" stuff again!
Just because thousands of people worldwide have a terrific community of like minded people due to his insight and efforts is no big deal. Neither is the fact that he has almost singlehandedly brought the humble whistle with it's joys to many people who might have never considered learning to play any instrument. Nor the debt of gratitude that many whistlemakers and sellers owe him for providing a wonderful place to highlight their wares in a very niche market.
...Just read what I had written, and realize that Dale is indeed a pretty wonderful guy. Thanks Dale.

From one who mostly lurks here, I want to add my appreciation to Dale for his contribution to my musical life. Additionally, I appreciate all of the discussions from this community that have added to my knowledge and entertainment for the past two years.

I too recently came out of the "lurking shadows." Thanks, Dale and Rich, for creating a site that I can hang out at for countless hours at work and accomplish so much, and yet seemingly nothing at all!

I've got to get everything ready for Mr. Wisely's...er...should I say soon to be President Wisely's upcoming election run. He'll sweep the contry of course, but if we're gonna make sure he holds the Royal High Poobah seat for another fifty years, we can't start slackin' now!
