Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Arguably so. Writing is a double-edged blade: by it, we are in a position to fine-tune how we make ourselves understood, and that is a very good thing; OTOH, we may still be misread no matter how clear we try to be.

But as we see so often, some folks don't think about it or they maybe even just don't care, in which case the whole thing is pretty moot.

"But"?

Anyway, there's always the issue of chiburi. Mind the pets and kids.

With my excess I could afford to give you a penny for your thoughts, it might have to be one of the steel ones though.

I can't understand this sentence at all. I'd have to look up certain words in a dictionary and I can't be bothered. I don't understand your usage of Cad with a capital C. None of this is necessarily your fault. I just don't get this post. I am not going to dislike you for it or follow you about trying to chop you down because you once (or more than that) said something that I couldn't understand. I don't feel inferior because someone said something that I couldn't understand, went over my head or challenged me.

I beg to live and let live (providing no one pinches my begging bowl).

It is his fault. Crying "But I have obfuscatitis!" is no excuse.

I hope that makes any better sense.

Thank you. That is absolutely, exactly what I did not mean.

Then you must have meant, "Argle bargle burgle argle bargle." Right? Gimme a cookie.
