WILLY WONKA FLUTE!!!!!

Post by chezymonkey »

Hi guys I'm new, but I'm hoping you can help me find something. Ok, what kind of flute does Gene Wilder use in the movie "Willy Wonka"? I'd really appreciate it, thanks alot!

It's just a prop... watch the movement of his fingers for proof.
Too bad it isn't real... it would be cool to have one! ;)

Gary Humphrey

That'd be sweet, but sort of awkward to be playing a song and just start eating the flute halfway through.

Yeah... but the melodies would just melt in your mouth ... sigh... (dreamy visions of rich dark chocolate in 6 different keys...)

From what I can remember, the whistle being used as a prop appeared to me to be a real whistle. I recall it having a fipple the same green color as a Feadog or Soodlum fipple and the appropriate brass body.

Where did you obtain this and does it relate to chocolate whistles?
