Anyone know who the piper was in the scene where various people were being auditioned to play in the group in the film 'The Commitments'?

I always thought it was an obvious understanding between the filmmaker and the viewer the pipes were a no-no.PJ wrote:I've always loved the way that all the musicians who audition are treated with scorn except for the piper! I wounder if Roddy Doyle or Alan Parker plays the pipes.
