Sorry. You're entirely correct. In fact, not being a major fan of regulators, I quite like the way he plays them on that recording. He should do it more often.

You're right. Lack of sleep must be making my brain fuzzy.

Does he ever play his regulators??

The jacket notes for May Morning Dew say that he plays two sets on this recording: a concert D set by Willie Rowsome - June 1921, and a Bnat set by Alain Froment 1988.

Errr, djm, you need to be careful with that medication of yours - you have 'jumped the gun'. I was introduced to the track 'May Morning Dew' by Ray Sloan. Its on his website played in concert pitch. Ive since been played the real version and am trying to find out what pipes were used on the title track? Anyway, if I want to elicit your advice to the group about purchasing I will create a new thread.

S'awright. Now about these 'pirated versions' - where do we get them then? :D ... only kidding.

I found these MP3's over on Bruce Childress' site http://www.bcpipes.com/GB4.mp3 (Concert Pitch) and this http://www.bcpipes.com/NoTitle.mp3 (Flat set). Are there any more samples knocking round the web that demonstrate flatsets?
