Slightly OT: MP3 hosting sites

Post by PJ »

Can anyone suggest a hosting site where I can post a few small MP3 files (approx. 500k each)? Preferably free.

Soundclick and AcidPlanet

They work well and are free to join. To post on these, you must own the copyright or the song/tune must be public domain. For example, posting your rendition of the theme song to "Titanic" is not be permitted.

If you are looking for general purpose hosting geocities and angelfire are good for that, though both have lots of popups on their free sites.

Thanks Bill. It's for posting 1 or 2 traditional tunes and a bunch of weird chanter noises  .

Does not your own ISP give you a certain amount of free personal webspace? Mine gives me 10mb which is where I host my site and MP3s.
