Birds Just Wanna Have Fu-un

Post by Walden »

"At a 2004 radio concert in Mansfield, Cyndi Lauper was doused with a blob of bird poop while reaching for the high note in her classic hit 'Money Changes Everything.' The fowl fecal critique landed directly in Lauper's open mouth, but the Brooklyn-born rocker simply wiped her tongue on her sleeve and kept on singing." --AOL

trivia time -

Cyndi plays mountain dulcimer, and composes a lot of her music on it!

If you listen to several cuts of her Christmas CD closely, you'll hear David Schaunfer playing backup on dulcimer.
And Cyndi sang on David's "Twilight Eyes" cut on his "Dulcimore" CD.

Ah, that may be, but she still has a hole in her heart that goes all the way to China.

I can't believe she wiped her tongue on her sleeve. Didn't her mama teach her to always carry a tissue?!

Actually, the sleeve is the best place for coughing and sneezing - I think tongue wiping would follow along those same lines. Check out this video - Why Don't We Do It In Our Sleeves?
Wash your hands. Cough and sneeze in your sleeve. Stay home if you are sick. Stay informed. http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu for more info.
