Australian Pipemaker Craig Fischer

Post by L42B »

Hi

Does anybody have any sound clips or photo's of Craig Fischer pipes. I often hear his name mentioned on the great pipemakers list but I have never heard nor seen any of his sets. I understand that Craig has closed his waiting list.

This topic also came up on the other forum.

That bears a striking resemblence to the Australian made Woof sets.

the set is concert pitch. They have a sweet tone and have been going strong for 12 years now. The narrow chanter is a little quiet for rowdy sessions. Craig and Geoff began making pipes at about the same time in Australia and were in close contact until Geoff moved away. They both have similar taste in how they think Uilleann Pipes should be.
