What is this "flesh-colored"? The reality of ethnic variation aside, I myself am spotty and yellowish.

Precisely! I'd never own a gun whose appearance would make me more likely to have to use it because any bad guy would be too busy laughing at my "girly toy" to take me seriously when I say "stop or I'll shoot!"

(Pink aside, I do have to agree that any sort of primary-colored whistle is probably not one I'd consider. If it looks like it belongs in the hands of a preschooler to play with rather than an actual musician to make actual music, I think I'll pass.... I'd get tired of explaining it to people!)
