Well I recently recieved my first Olwell Bamboo flute. It's in the key of F.

My initial impression is, in a word, Hubba hubba! Well I guess that's two words (or would it count as one word twice?).

In any event the thing is quite astonishing. Which has led to the inevitable dilemma of needing a few more (and I've been doing so well lately  )

I'm also quite concerned about the other inevitable question which is beginning to formulate in the back of my mind (though much resisted)...if his bamboo flutes are this good what are his wooden ones like...Groan!

Help! I feel myself being drawn to an aggravatingly long waiting list!

Doc,

After reading your post I decided to look for my Olwell Eb bamboo flute. Of course I can't find it anywhere.
If I can find it would you be interested? It plays really well and should be in great shape. I can't imagine I got rid of it. Hopefully it's around here somewhere.
It's yours if you want it.

Cheers,
Garth

Doc,

Found the flute behind a book shelf. Don't ask...

email me off list if your interested in adding an Olwell Eb to your collection.
Lord knows my wife would like to see MY collection decrease.

Garth

I've closed up a deal on a D and an Eb (I think ).

Other keys still welcome.

Thanks for the responses so far. I've got some killer Burke whistles I'd swap for a G, A or Bb bamboo Olwell flute.

Garth, if you're still looking to rid yourself of the Eb, let me know -- I was thinking of getting one in any case...
