Which is it? What does the last syllable rhyme with?

I started doing that, but all I saw was page after page of utterly benign posts by Mr St Claire, who seemed trying to help newbie whistlers etc. Maybe one has to go further back in time for the controversial stuff?

Thanks! I've heard it that way, if I understand you correctly (I don't speak German).

I've heard that name at least three ways (using the English language for examples)

"I got a spill on my clothes".

"Did you take a spill, Ann?"

"Did you take a spill, Lane?"

Click on that and I get "the requested user does not exist." Maybe Mods have a different access to the members list?

Best wishes.

All you need do is a search on "Talbert" and here are the 614 results. Have fun:

search.php?keywords=Talbert&terms=all&a ... mit=Search

Hint: Start on page 42, and work backwards. Makes more sense that way.

Wow that was 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back! Wading through endless posts of you-know-who selling loads of whistles (he appears to go through whistles like a hot knife through butter) and enduring his continuous typos (no spellcheck I guess?) to get to something interesting. Here it is, the first interesting bit I came to

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19335&start=30

Whatever. After reading that I lost all interest.

I'm ashamed to say, I have hours invested....I'm fascinated. It's like watching a car crash! I just can't look away. Still at it actually...I may have some summary thoughts later...wow :boggle:

Yes, it wasn't always pretty, sometimes it was fun (Richard picked the right bit there) but it does explain, maybe, the reactions of some on the current thread.

Retrospectively I wondered about hm saying :
The Bender of the Palmtree wrote: I'm not to crazy about whistles that have the mouthpiece attachment. Especially the higher end whistle's.
while initially so actively pushing and waxing lyrical about:

But really., it's all so much in the past it would be a waste of time to contemplate that whole episode too much outside a bit of reminiscing about a particular episode in board history.

Snowy old day over here. Nothing better to do than to fuel my TSC fascination.....my thoughts....he is a person to be pitied. He obviously has some problems in the head. All his rants about how great he is and what a professional musician he is and his "friendship" with Davy Spillane etc. etc. I find very disturbing and it's obvious that he has problems. He has obviously used multiple personas, on this forum, to glorify himself. Not the behaviour of someone right in the head. He practices for 7 hrs. a day? Where did he get the time to post. Yet after all this time and his history here, he comes back with those videos in a car?! This shows that he is not right. TSC, if you're reading this, I hope you get the help you seem such in need of. I have compassion for people. You seem quite disturbed and I pity you for that. You seem to get a good tone out of a whistle, be happy with that. You referred to your troubled past. Maybe that's why you have behaved the way you have.

P.S. Don't send me any threatening messages!!
