Here is a fairly new one with Isaac Alderson and friends. For some reason in most of his videos either you can't hardly see him or the audio is bad. This is an exception. I think its a fairly new posting and the playing is superb and well arranged (or it least it sounds that way). There is, of course, mid way through the proverbial drunk who passes in front of the camera and then comes back to play conductor, but that's just for a moment.

Enjoy.

I had never heard of Barra McAllister before but I saw him listed on my space and did a search and found this. By pure coincidence, James Riley, the guitarist on the Isaac Alderson video I posted is also here. The style and energy of Barra's playing is very similar to Isaac's even though on this cut its mostly Breton music.

Another one from Michael Flatley :)

First a couple of turns on the air he always plays, and then a great take on the Masons Apron on what I believe is his Rudall & Rose.

I sort of agree with you, but only sort of....

Here goes another one. This is amazing, never thought I'd see this. Michael Flatley putting his hideously decorated Olwell up against the king himself and his Boosey Pratten, what a great duet. I think I'll have to buy the Gold dvd now

How am I going to fit in my signature line with this? Oh, I know:

Eheh you can hardly hear Micheal Flatley, Matt Molloy just blows him away with his superpowers :D
Anyway it must be a great honour to play with (as you said) the king himself.

Catherine McEvoy and Loretto Reid in a duet (providence reel, don't know the other), followed by a tin whistle solo of Loretto Reid playing the mason's apron
